Sometimes, we wait to get all our ducks in a row before doing something.

Certain tasks require that things be done in a certain order.

Being prepared certainly helps in a lot of circumstances.

You have to gather the ingredients, mix them together and then bake it before you can create a cake.

Before buying that new car you want, you have to save up enough money for it.

Doing things in order, in a way that you've prepared for, feels comfortable.

It feels safe.

Just follow the instruction manual.

Get your ducks in a row.

But not everything in life is sequential.

Delaying some things in life until you have your ducks in a row can be quite costly.

What happens if you discount relationships and family until after you are "prepared" to invest in them?

What happens if you delay your own happiness until after you have prepared a comfortable life for yourself?

With some things in life, the ducks won't ever be perfectly in order.

At least some preparation is good enough for those things.

So take that step.

Pursue that dream.

Know what truly matters, and go for it.

Now.
